Gas Safety Certificates
Do you need a Safety Certificate? If you're a home-owner selling, a certificate might be requested by the buyer and they will be reassured to know that your gas appliances have been recently inspected. If you're a landlord or Agent of a tenanted property then the law says you must have a valid certificate at all times and it must be renewed every twelve months. Failure to comply can lead to a substantial fine and or imprisonment so act now!

Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)
Plug-in appliances in the home or rented property are a common cause of injury and/or fires. They should ideally be checked annually, especially if a property is tenanted since this is the only way a landlord can adequately meet his/her legal Duty of Care to ensure that the tenant is safe at all times. The procedure is straight forward and cost effective. Our gas engineers can carry out the test whilst they are there working on the gas appliances should you wish.
